Media Consumption Roundup - June '25
I’m getting this out quickly as I’m about to take an intentional pause from writing on here. A summer break, if you will.
Video Games
Katamari Damacy
I started this game while on a weekend trip with my sisters in Phoenix, AZ. It was the perfect time to play it, and I loved it so much! I found a lot of meaning in it, and you can read about those thoughts in my full review.
Ribbit King
There are so many gems hidden in the history of video games. Ribbit King is one of those gems. Check out my full review below!
Books
That’s right, I actually finished some books last month!
All You Need is Kill
My pastor approached me with a present and said, “It’s not actually a present, I just don’t want people to see the cover.”
All You Need is Kill is a manga adaptation of the book that inspired the movie Edge of Tomorrow. It’s about a time loop, and it’s pretty good. I don’t have much to say about it.
The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
Wow.
The Lord of the Rings is the most important work for me. It’s core to who I am, and I’m happy to say I’ve finally finished the books. I wish I had read them quicker than I did, but I’m glad I at least finished it and loved it!
